Heather graduated with an undergraduate degree in Biology, with a minor in Psychology, from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. She holds a Master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the four year program at Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine
Heather’s certification in Acupuncture Sports medicine gives her a unique angle in treating orthopedic, neurological, and sports related injuries. In 2018 Heather relocated from the central coast of California to the north shore of Kauai with her husband and son. In addition to her private practice; in 2017, Heather worked at a neurosurgeon practice in San Luis Obispo, California where she offered acupuncture as an adjunct or alternative to surgery. From 2016-2019 she interned with the medical team for the World Surf League (WSL) at their Hawaii and California contests, such as the US Open of Surfing and Billabong Pipe Masters, along side the industry’s top sports medicine practitioners and doctors. Her patients find that acupuncture not only diminishes pain and helps them recover from injuries, it allows them to stay focused and perform at their best.

Outside the office, Heather can be found surfing, paddling with the canoe club, riding her horse, working in her garden or simply enjoying family life with her husband and son.
